COMPETITIONS

Momentum Contemporary competitions are not like traditional theatre competitions but more in keeping with street and freestyle competitions with regards to format and layout.  

 

We offer 5 categories at all of our competitions:

Set Routine 

Teams

Improv Solos

Duos

Special Category (changes at each event)

 

There are 3 set routines to choose from.  Two choreographed by our in house team and one choreographed by an industry professional who will also judge the competition too!

Trophies are awarded to all finalists (1st-6th).  All teams receive a team trophy and medals for each individual dancer. Team feedback from the judges is sent out to teachers within a week after the event.

 

Ticket prices are £16 for both spectators and competitors. This is a standard fee for the day and includes the dancer being able to compete in all 5 events.
